Hi
sharing few snaps of the lonely spotted dove that visits my house every morning....
and i feed him/her with grains and grass-seeds. And the dove is soon joined by a flock of sparrows.
Do you know??
the renowned poet William Wordsworth named his house with the name of this bird.
The "Dove Cottage" in Cumbria, England was his home from 1799 to 1808, and it was here that he wrote some of his best poetries...
Today, the Dove Cottage offers a program of events throughout the year, including poetry readings, free talks, music by local musicians and children's activities.
