Hi
sharing two snaps of juvenile/female Brown shrike taken today morning from my room's window.
I consider myself to be extremely fortunate that i wake up with the loud chattering calls of the shrike.
This bird was calling loudly to protect its territory...and was also catching insects by diving into the grass.
