(delhibirdpix) Dinopium benghalense

Hi
taken this snap of the lovely Black-rumped Flameback (Dinopium benghalense) today morning in my backyard. It was earlier called Lesser Golden-backed woodpecker...i feel that name was more  appropriate. The bird really has a golden back.

This bird was busy extracting worms from the moss-covered walls of the garden.
Just got one record shot of this woodpecker...from my balcony.

regards
Shantanu.
