[BirdPhotoIndia] Pl help with ID

Hello, request help with ID. This wader was spotted at Morgim Beach, Goa, on 25-09-10, as part of a mixed flock of around 150-200 waders, mostly Sand Plovers. I am confused by the red, slightly downcurved bill.
