(delhibirdpix) Greater Short-toed Lark (Calandrella brachydactyla)

Today - 31.10.2010, totally unexpected and amongst a scattered flock of Sand Plovers by the sea in Mulki, Karnataka, India.

I hope the ID is correct. It was a solitary bird.
