[BirdPhotoIndia] Spot-winged thrush, Sri Lanka

We grew quite familiar with the beautiful call of the spot-winged thrush in Sinharaja forest in Sri Lanka, and would usually wake up in Martin's Lodge to its melodious whistling. The call also happened to be the ringtone of our intrepid driver-cum-guide Chaminda, and I tried my imitation call on him several times on the car journeys to fool him into picking up his phone, but alas never successfully...

This was clicked on Nov 1st 2010, Sinharaja.

Cheers,
Garima
