Next few shots are from Naukuchiatal - near to Sattal. We stayed there for Oct 20-21, 2010.
Though it was a family trip, a bird watcher'eye will always search for it's joy. Just by walking around the lake and following one or two trails, I am posting few images that I can manage.
Red vented bulbuls are common birds, but they can not outnumber Himalayan one in these area I traveled. I was tired of taking shois of Himalayan bulbuls, sp tried with our commonest one.
And Common Moorhen is one such common bird - but I located only one in the lake accompanied by a juvenile one.
Hope I am not making you bored.
