(delhibirdpix) Orange-headed Ground Thrush- CKBS

Hi
Last week I searched for this secretive bird in CKBS with my friend
Parikshit for about an hour and tried to track the bird for taking
some snaps. But the bird preferred to stay in the dense undergrowths.
Hence we failed to take any shot of this lovely thrush. Yesterday the
bird obliged by coming out in the open just for a few seconds, as it
turned over the dry leaves in search of insects. These shots were
taken in the shade, and there was inadequate light due to the cloudy
weather. But my new gear- Sony DSC HX1 gave two decent shots even in
low light.

regards
Shantanu.
