Taken today at Jamnagar with marvellous birding guide Chiku (thanks to arpit bhai and yashodhan bhai for arranging this). Target was the common ringed plover but lucked out!!
However saw plenty of kentish plovers breeding with chicks.
My question: None of the kentish plovers have the reddish head. Have they already lost this plumage or something else..
