(delhibirdpix) The Migratory Non-passerines - # 6.02 - Oriental Pratincole (Glareola maldivarum) - 2011-140

Made a trip to Dadri Wetlands this morning and spent a couple of enchanting couple of hours.

Highlight was the 'Dance of Sarus Cranes' - got on the video this time. Does any one know how to remove the dust particles in videos - on the still I use the eraser ? Would post soon I learn to edit and upload. If anyone wants now, then please send me a simple tutorial that my grey cells can understand.

Oriental Pratincoles showed up in flight first - a flock of about a dozen - and then when found these driving through the lake bed now drying up.

Re wader - the resident big ones were all there and among the visitor found Little Stints in full breeding regalia and a solitary Ruff.

Here is a Male oriental Pratincole.

Cheers.
