Sri Lanka Frogmouth ( Batrachostomus moniliger )
Date: Evening 1 May 2011
After spending few good evenings in search of frogmouth, finally I could get to see the bird. Framed it at my fav' birding place Durga reserve forest of Karkala. Found many spots where frogmouths are active in evening, but succeeded in seeing at forest border. Last two days I was successful in seeing both male and female, today only Male showed up.
