I just returned from a fantastic week-long trip to the alpine regions of Western Arunachal Pradesh -- Sela Pass, Jung, Shangti Valley and Mandala -- to catch some of the NE birds in summer. The place is absolutely magical (though under heavy pressure from the army thanks to the China border) topped with some superb birding. We found this enigmatic bird (thanks to Shashank Dalvi) in two distinct habitats -- one in rocky gullies above the treeline (Sela pass) and the other in coniferous forests (near Mandala). Both pictures are attached.
It is absolutely amazing how the bird has chosen this bizarre breeding ground (partially covered by snow even in summer plus extremely exposed to the wind).
Equipment: Canon-EOS 1D Mark IV & 500mm + 1,4x + monopod

Watch this space; tons more pics coming :-)
