[BirdPhotoIndia] Summer bird watching 1

Yesterday, me and my son went out bird watching and photographing. We started early in the morning (6:15 AM) and reached the spot at about 8:30AM. It was very hot day but that may have been a blessing in disguise for us. We are able to roam around freely with no other soul about. That may have made things easy the avian friends of ours to give a chance to photograph.

Let me inform that we are very new to this wonderful hobby of bird watching so we may be wrong about the IDs. If there is any mistake, do correct us please. Thank you.

Here are some of the birds that we were able to catch (with our camera of course).

Place: Shyamkhola, Sonarpur-Rajpur, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, India
Equipment: Nikon D90, Nikkor AF-S 70-300G f4.5/5.6 IF-ED VRII and caps on our heads.
