(delhibirdpix) Blue-beareded Bee-eater- Buxa Tiger Reserve

Hi
a flock of Blue-bearded Bee-eaters were spotted in the forested area near Jainty. Buxa.
But the birds were perched high up in the canopy. So i cudnt get a single decent shot of these lovely forest-dwelling Bee-eaters.
And the most surprising thing is these Bee-eaters, unlike their smaller cousins, were croaking like frogs,....never heard such a wierd bird-call.
It was certainly a Lifer for me. Wish i cud get better shots of these birds.

regards
Shantanu.
