(delhibirdpix) Red-rumped Swallow (Cecropis daurica)

Again, I am interested in why this is not "Hirundo daurica". This is the subspecies that breeds in the himalayas - nipalensis.

A few of these birds had nests all along the place where I was staying and they would perch on wires right below my window.

In Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand (India) on 18 June 2011.
