Hi all,
This day while I gave a quick visit to the woods of my area, it was exciting and soothing that I sighted some birds so easily (and also somewhat without my fear) which otherwise I usually don't, I can take pics easily with them around . Hoopoe was completely fearless and I can approach him at even 1 mtr distance. Kingfisher (WT) was shy and gave me room for distance of 4-5 mtrs. Same with the Flameback .But in all , they were easily available around with no difficulty in sighting and capturing them . I also was lucky to sight Grey headed canary flycatcher for first time here ( I don't know for the period before I started birding) , whose pics I already posted. I shall post pics in my further postings.
But I am concerned for the appearance of the area as it to be develped and with that all the folliage/dried grass/shrubs( which now lie on the uneven ground, and help birds to find food) will be cleared giving area the ornamental look instead of wild look.
Do you have any suggestions over this?
HB,
J
