(delhibirdpix) Uncommon Beauty at Lodi Gardens

A Common Kingfisher was the last thing I expected when I peered into the depths of a partly submerged Bottle Brush tree. But, as luck would have it, I finally saw the bird I had been chasing in vain for months.

This was a most obliging specimen and allowed me to approach close enough to take some shots. I could have come closer but I decided to leave the fisherman to his fishing.
