Dear fellow birders and nature lovers,
After many days of trying at last made for a short birding trip to the areas near Jatinga , N C Hills , Assam. Well the place was full of the flying beauties , including the butterflies, which were mostly flying near the treetops. The birds were in hundreds , as per the sounds that you could hear from the beautiful thick forests, but getting a sight of these beautiful sounds was a real challenge. The place is a treasure trove for birders. Tried all in the trade to get to see these beauties and also to capture a few. 'ID'ing them was another problem as by the time you got them in sight with your Bino's ( Forget the cameras) they would vanish. Well giving a list of a few that I could confirm / capture.
