Species : Black-chinned Laughingthrush – Garrulax cachinnans cachinnans - Adult
Date : 7th Dec. 2012
Location : Ooty, Tamilnadu, India
Habitat : Scrubs adjacent to forest.
Status : Endangered.
Remarks : 7-8 birds came along hopping, from the Lantana scrubs and forest above the Governor's House at Ooty, looking for food on the ground rummaging under leaves, unmindful of my presence there. Good to see these SW India endemics thriving well.
