One of the beautiful Western Ghat endemics with an enchanting call .... a strong 'schtweep' ..... in the eerie thick canopied forest as the sunrays were forcing their way through the broad leaves onto the ground.
As we sat across a largely dried stream guided by a cheerful Kartik Bhat in wait for an ODKF which we were hearing quite .... a flock of these beautiful bulbuls suddenly descended and enthralled us with a better view than the last two days.
