[BirdPhotoIndia] Fwd: Black-hooded Oriole, covered with spiderweb

Black-hooded Oriole
Location: Banobitan, Central Park, Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
Date: 17/03/2013
The background: We were standing in front of this tree which was about 6ft in height. Suddenly this bird flew in and entered into the foliage. There was quite some rustling noise and we could see that the bird was struggling with something. After about 30 sec the bird came out in the open with one side of it's head covered with spiderweb. I could get only one shot before it flew away. Later, I came to know from one of our fellow bird watcher, that he saw the bird desperately trying to get rid of the webs by rubbing it's head against a tree trunk. I hope that it succeed.

Thank you
