I have been a regular Visitor to Bhondsi Forests with my Cycling group Pedal Yatri. This place is a forest reserve just 15 Kms from Iffco Chowk, Gurgaon. 500 acres of Land was donated by the villagers to Late Prime Minister Mr Chandrashekhar Singh which was withdrawn by the courts later, due to usage non compliance. Some construction was done in between which is lying vacant. I have taken pictures of Brown headed Barbet, Lesser Golden Back, Oriental White Eye, White Capped Bunting, Brahminy Starling, Chestnut Shouldered Petronia, Grey Horn Bill, Oriental Magpie, Egyptian Vulture, Oriental Honey Buzzard, Plumheaded Parakeet, Spotted Owl, Bay-Backed Shrike, Thick knee, Purple Sunbird, Chest Bellied Sand Grouse, Asian Koel, Copper Smith, Plain Prenia, Peacock, Small Minivet and many more.
I am attaching Photographs Lesser Golden back and Brown headed Barbet.
