Species: Rufous-throated Wren Babbler - Spelaeornis caudatus - Adult
Date: 30th March 2013.
Location: Rachet (2400m), Lava, West Bengal, India
Habitat: Undergrowth in cardamom plantation.
Status: Near Threatened.
Remarks: The species was not uncommon in a small patch of a cardamom estate adjacent to a broad leaved forest. At least three birds were heard from gullies and undergrowth and one sighted.
