(delhibirdpix) Barred Buttonquail || Female

It was one of those days when the Shyest of the birds allow you to observe them at close ranges.... this Female obliged us with her daily routine for more than 90 Mins... it took 2 dust baths, eat few small worms, moved thru the grass, kept calling once in a while.... Truly honored just to get a glimpse of their secret lives.

Species : Barred Buttonquail - Turnix suscitator
Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Equipment : Canon 1DM4, 300mm F/2.8 with 2x converter.
