Had noticed on 13th the construction at OBP - adjoining the Banyan Tree at
the end of Weir Bund and then send the following message to the Chairman/CEO
of NOIDA and DFO of NOIDA.
Got a call from the Project Department. They did not want to stop and remove the construction
but wanted to reduce the scale, whatever that meant. Were finally persuaded to drop and remove
the construction/debris and restore the status quo ante.
The report in Hindustan Times today confirms their intentions to do so.
Anyway, request any one visiting that area to send me a message if the construction
is still going on and/or the construction is not demolished or removed. I would be
visiting only next week.
Cheers.
