Hi,
I had recently been to Dehradun for an academic conference and got an opportunity to stay in the outskirts of Dehradun at Kairwaan Gaon, (Makhret PS), Rajpur, Dehradun (Google Maps Co-ordinates: 30.401227, 78.093860). This place was very scenic and beautiful with a small stream (Locally known as Shikhar Fall). So, I happened to spend 1 hour each day (for 4 days) for birding in early morning and did happen to add many lifers. This was 1st time I was birding in Himalayan foothills range. The region has so many birds that I could easily add 12+ lifers with casual walks in mornings. As I'm unable to ID all the birds I would require some help from experts for the same....................................................................
