Through the camera lens, it was mesmerising to watch this beautiful egret in such a labyrinth of a backdrop and interesting to note how it would stop at a leafy plant and peck at something repeatedly - perhaps insects ? - using its long flexible neck to its advantage in reaching out quickly all around the plant.
