It is indeed surprising that throughout my stay of three weeks in Balurghat town I did not see a single Black Kite. Raptors were conspicuous by their absence. I even went to the garbage dump to see any raptors but there was not a single one.
-- This Buzzard was seen at mid noon in bright sunshine. Hence the poor picture.
