Hello,
I found this Eurasian Tree creeper on the way to Rachet/ Ruset near Kolakham, West Bengal, India on 23rd April, 2014. I have always noticed many tree climbing birds like woodpeckers, tree creepers etc to prefer the shady side of the tree trunk specially in the morning. This bird was no exception. Out of ten times when I watched this bird to climb up super fast, only one or two times it chose the sunny side! It was carrying mouthful of grubs etc, most probably to feed its nestlings. I was surprised to see that it took only a few seconds to fill its mouth again!
Regards,
Maitreyee
