Sarus, of course, is the centre of attraction always.
There were just too many of them today and spread all
over the Wetland. There are adults, sub-adults, juveniles
and chicks. Just too many, could not take an accurate count.
Did get 48 in one frame - 5 on Ground and 43 in Flight on 15th.
Here is an Adult with an Almost Adult.
The Birders visiting this morning (16th) hit a number of 102 Sarus Cranes
and saw one pair with two chicks (should be less than two months old)
Taken Today at Dhanauri Kalan, Greater Noida, U.P., India
(50 KMs SSE of Delhi).
