hi, we were checking a small puddle on the road side for some desert specialites . there were lots and lots of house sparrows and suddenly the sparrows took off and this bird was holding the ground. to my surprise it was trumpeter finch, the lone bird in a flock of hundreds of house sparrows. i could click only three images before it too flew away. another lifer.
