the sighting on 19th December. Lone attraction was a Long-Legged Buzzard
first shrouded in fog and then in a bit of light when the fog thinned. It was as
disappointed as we were and it just sat completely oblivious of our 'clicks'
Saw four Species for the first time - a Mallard, a Pied Avocet, a Rudy Shelduck
and Black-Headed Gull - for the first time at this Wetland. Species count is up
to 180.
Here is a Long-legged Buzzard from Dhanauri Kalan, (50 KMs SSE of Delhi),
Grater Noida, U.P.,India on 19th December 2014
It looked just too powerful but did not put fear in to me as did Black-Shouldered Kite
a few years back
Cheers.
