(delhibirdpix) Velvet-fronted Nuthatch

As we were watching this nuthatch (from a great distance) creep around the trunk of the tree, it suddenly froze and remained like that, as if nailed to the trunk. Soon we saw a Shikra flying around and knew the cause of the nuthatches decision. It remained frozen till we left the site; clearly, the Shikra was still around.
The second image is of a different bird.
