(delhibirdpix) Khadar-Jagatpur-15-02-2015-Black Headed Gull ( Breeding)

Friends we made 5 trips to this place and thoroughly scanned the entire river bank to see this 'NEAR THREATENED' species on 7th,21st,25 Dec. 2014 later 18th January  & 15th February 2015 . In all our initial  four trips it gave us a miss .But yesterday was rewarding  because while we were returning I thought to recheck it and was delighted to locate it sitting  in the flock of Red Wattled Lapwing. We had a lovely time at Yamuna. Those of you who are interested in seeing it, must visit Yamuna .RCP 's have already gone and Gulls have put on their 'Wedding Suits' Head Gears & have become very vocal they look  beautiful. When one can see their 'wedding rituals' and 'Sangee't within Delhi why to wait for Laddakh where they would be having their families. Just go and see them .:)
