(delhibirdpix) The Migratory Birds of Prey - # 11.16 - Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) - 2015-026

This Blue Sky is indeed a rarity in this part of the Country.
It add to the Birding Pleasure immencly when the Bird help
like this Kestrel.

We got good looks as a Booted Eagle, Greater Spotted Eagle,
Common Kestrels and Long-legged Buzzard.

There was a small tiff between the Booted Eagle and a Kite
that did not want it in its territory, perhaps.

Water is drying up fast.  Have written to the concerned to release
water to 'maintain the wetland' - not sure if there would be a response.

Taken on 7th February 2015 at Dhanauri Kalan, (50 KMs SSE of Delhi)'
Greater Noida, U.P., India.

Cheers.
