For the first time in my entire birding life I have seen them on ground eating mud to full fill their minerals and calcium requirement . They were in huge flocks every where. Also we observed them drinking water from the pond. This was amazing today at Sanjay Van with Ram Gopal,Sonika,Vanya,Vedik and Chand.
