Hi,
When  I last visited this forest [where I photographed black  cobra] around, 8  months  back, I missed to  photograph  one raptor , which  seemed shikra but I  was sure 80% that it  shouldn't be but some other hawk . This  time , at  same place , I photographed it  , the same bird, the same  flight, surely the single  bird there , which may be  breeding here, because of the good availablity of snakes and  lizards.

While witnessing such precious wild species, heart also cries to loose them, to the development  virus which has hit the indian minds and  only mean concrete development. Be it mangar, or other aravali  moutains, spreading over from delhi to  harayana, they  are full of  precious  wild species of trees, birds and animals. I can imagine  the impact  of  developmennt virus ,not  confining to  delhi/NCR  but all through haryana to jaipur. With the  greed covering the minds
, I see inevitable loss to the precious aravali.  It's  the  mindset which has changed, dominated by greed, and will play havoc with the green wealth leaving  nothing.

here's  the hawk[?]..Enjoy the feel of  wild. It gave  me plenty of good shots, so  beautiful...

From  Manesar , 10  kms frm Gurgaon, main highway,
