(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 46.04 - Scaly-breasted Munia (Lonchura puntulata) - 2015-162

Years ago, a Birder on one of the groups asked for advice - To Buy a Scope or Pay for
a Car for his Wife.

He was given advice - sage advice, so labelled  - that he should
invest in Scope, Go for Extensive Birding and His Wife would have her Car soon.

A year later on exact date,  the advice was termed 'sage advice' - it was taken,
birder had his scope, wife had her car, only the Psychiatrist was bankrupt.

I Practice this on this 'advice' often.  Definitely when I am stressed out. Same was
this morning.  I Birded at Home (rather than go jogging/gyming as in good old days).

Birds Obliged - Posed for Pictures and even a Video.  Many gave fly-past including
the Sector Bully Shikra.  Sun Co-operated by giving diffused lighting. Only problem was
that 'my big cannon' was handy and shooting hand-holding may have given me a 'stress-fracture'.
Got at least a half dozen keepers and shareable images.

Here is a Scaly-Breasted Munia.

Taken on 5th August 2015 at Sector 15A, Noida, India.

Cheers.
