Yellow-bellied Prinia (Prinia flaviventris)---
Extremely happy to get some really close shots of this colourful bird on an open perch today morning. It was singing a full-throated song. It is perhaps the most gorgeous of our prinia species.
Thanks to birder friend Sandeep Chakraborty for calling me up at 5am and literally pushing me to go for birding.
