Hello,
This is a Seicercus warbler, photographed in the Lower Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh, at ~ 2300 meters, in early June. It seems to be one of the Golden-spectacled complex, but I'm not sure which one. The wing covert bar indicates Whistler's (extremely common there), but the broken eyering is wrong, as was the song (which drew my attention in the first place, a two-three syllable phrase repeated 4-5 times preceeded by an introductory chip, rather than the simple 'twitchy-twitchy' of a Whistler's Warbler). The lateral crown stripes are also rather strong for Whistler's. I was wondering if anyone with more experience with these species than myself had an opinion?
Regards,
Gautam
