It is very good book indeed and is an out come of dedication of entire team . I feel proud to receive a gifted autographed copy from the author Abhilash in person during film shooting at JNU soon after the release.

I am happy to inform you that " Vultures of Panna" a coffee table book by environment journalist Abhilash Khandekar and ace photographer from MP, Mr Bhalu Mondhe, was released by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan during the 12th meeting of the SWLB in Bhopal on 11th August, 2015. Mondhe is the president of TNV--" an informal pressure group of environmentally restless people" .

The book has been published by The Nature Volunteers (TNV), Indore and is supported by WWF, New Delhi. It captures eight of the 10 species of vultures found in India. Panna National Park is the only Tiger Reserve in India which organises annual count of vultures and has good number of these big birds.

 The Panna  vultures are in great health and could remain insulated during the worst period of population crash that began in early 2000 in India and neighbouring countries due to over use of Diclofenac drug.
