After spending the early morning in a futile search for Tibetan Sandgrouse, we were on our way to the freshwater lake, Startsapuktso, when suddenly a movement on the right made me jam the brakes. And there they were - a flock of 20 odd birds in a field. They maintained their distance and would slowly waddle away as we tried to crawl closer. Here is a male, Tsokar, 27 July 2012.
Cheers,
Garima
