(delhibirdpix) Eurasian Rollar-23-8-2014

Great farewell birding with retiring Comd. Officer Bhatti Mines Col.Sandhir & with old friends first time in my life I have seen spectacular migration of Eurasian Rollars & white eyed buzzards .Rollars were every where on every tree,bush,pole and sky.First sightings of Common Kestrel of the season.Thanks to team  Southern Ridge we spotted 60-70 Eurasian Rollers as team comprising Col.Pradeep SangwanChandra BhushanManish Kumar,Ishtiyak Ahamed,Taksh,Lakhan,and self. I am sure this is the highest number of this species in Delhi. Earlier our count was 32 in A.V. Wetland on 4th September 2007 with Anand Arya, Wingco,Dr. Vinod Gupta,Abhishek Varma and Self.   Regards
