(delhibirdpix) ID Help Please

Place: Basai Wetlands, Haryana

Description: This bird was seen flitting amongst clumps of grass over water. It would perch on the grass stems and proceed to fly-catch from that perch. About sparrow sized. Brown wash to breast with some dark markings on the shoulder. Brown upperparts. Resembles Common Chiffchaff to some extent, but its size seemed bigger.

The bird seemed quite shy as it left the area when we began to take interest in it...despite us being a good 30+ meters away.
Apologies for the poor pics. Requesting help in ID
